STRATIFICATION: To properly stratify the seeds, place them in moist sand or potting soil inside a sealed plastic bag. Store this bag in the refrigerator for one to three months. Alternatively, you can directly plant the seeds in the garden in the fall, where natural cold temperatures will effectively stratify them.
SOW: Once the seeds have been stratified, plant them about 1/4 inch deep in well-draining, sandy loamy soil. Ensure the soil remains moist throughout the process.
